This is myself and all of my pelts. I love each and every one of them with all of my heart, as well as respect them and the lives they lived.
The ones hanging in the back, from left to right, are:
- Claudio, the male Virginia opossum.
- Codie, the mountable male coatimundi.
- Nuka, the male platinum/whitemark red fox.
- Vitani, the female arctic marble red fox.
- Russet, the male red coyote.
- Bracken, the mountable male gray western coyote.
Then left to right on the bottom are:
- Sorrel, the mountable female Alaskan lynx.
- Reckless, the almost 20 year old human.
- Cinder, the mountable female Yukon wolf.
I will tolerate no PETA-bullshit. I acquired all these animals as you see them, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Because yes, I do support hunting, trapping, and good quality fur-farming- and for good reasons too. I have done my reasearch over many years and I would not support it if I found it to be unethical.
Remember- with hunting and the like, the animal is killed swiftly and quickly. With your supposed ‘cruelty-free’ roadkill, that animal may have sat there for hours, suffering before it finally dies from all of the crushed bones and internal bleeding. (No, I am not trying to guilt-trip you, but help you see that ‘cruelty-free’ does not always mean such. Most animals trapped, hunted, or fur farmed are killed effectively with one shot, etc. Not all, there are bad people out there, but most hunters, trappers, and fur-farmers love animals just as much as you and I.)
But overall, taxidermy is no worse (in fact, better, usually) than your daily meal at McDonald’s, a leather sofa, or your leather shoes. Taxidermy just has a face, and I prefer it that way.
A week or so ago, Laurel was stuck on the ground while the whole rest of the flock snuggled in the roost for the night because she was too nervous to jump up. I felt horrible for her and felt the urge to give her some mommy snuggles!
I picked her up and after some nervous flapping, she settled on my hand and her chest against my own. I stroked her back, neck, and head, calming her, whispering to her about how such a sweet baby she is. She let her wings droop comfortably, rubbing her beak against me and making content smacking noises (if you’ve interacted with a cuddly chicken, you know what I’m talking about) as she stretched her neck happily against mine.
Which is how these pictures happened. It was pitch black in my garage and the flash hurt my eyes so I had to close them while I hoped I was taking a head-on picture where you could see my baby cuddling with me. She’s my favorite snuggle-buddy! After this, I set her up on the roost with the rest of the flock.

My friend Bree and I! We had a two-person party on Saturday while my mom went to a wedding… that I was supposed to go to.. hehehe. We had two Mike’s Hard Lemonade… a sip of Cherry Whiskey and Amaretto… and I mixed some Vodka into my second Mike’s as well. So we obviously did not get drunk. |D But we got buzzed and it was fun!

yeah i’m going down a fucking slide with her and she’s awesome. i didnt like her as a pup cause she was nippy but now i carry her around and stuff.
i remember i saw a dog loose so i gave isabelle’s leash to my cousin and approached him and he seemed fine.. until i tried to look at his tags and he bit me so i turned around and walked calmly, snatched up isabelle, and we hurried down the street. she’s like my babyyyyy!
if only they didn’t live in colorado. i always look forward to seeing her LOL.
A pack of psycho puppies XD! Actually, Pepper was really nippy as a puppy (she used to bite the shit out of my brother) but she calmed down by 3 years.

LOL. yes. aww really? maybe it’s small breeds in general pffft. but yeah, isabelle is… 3 4 5 6 i don’t know LOL. she’s still outgoing but she’s a lot more calm. i haven’t seen her in a couple years :cc

- caucasian i guess? |D but if you’re interested in what lies underneath, czechoslovakian, polish, and french canadian are the ‘biggest’ parts of my background. my grandpa (my dad’s dad)’s dad was FROM czechoslovakia and my papa dan (my mom’s dad)’s mom- otherwise known as my granny- was fully polish. my nana (my mom’s mom)’s mom is mostly french canadian. the rest is… a jumbled mess of european nationalities i guess.
So! I really went to Motorcity Comic Con (: It was pretty fun, definitely way bigger than I expected! A bit unorganized and wayyy packed, like, insanely so… But it had a lot of cool items that you could buy! But oh well, I guess I’m just used to Youmacon which is fairly set up (though I haven’t been since they added the Cobo Center..) and not as crowded.
There wasn’t any people I really wanted to see… besides Stan Lee but that experience is expensive as hell probably LOL. And from what I heard, he was being rushed so bad :C Poor dude. But my friend KD (the one in the picture with me) wanted to see a couple actors so yeah- behind my head in that picture is Nicholas Brendon from Buffy (which I’ve never seen).
I made one purchase while I was there- a frame with 11 Iron Man 3 Film Cells! Actual film from the movie- there’s even a sticker of Authenticity on the back of it. I was really hesitant but KD talked me into it and I’m really glad! It’s so cool and I doubt there’s another one with so much Tony, Pepperony, and ‘Iron Patriot’ in it! Excuse my reflection in the frame by the way…

This is Cinnamon! Click here to see his Petfinder. I’ve interacted with this lovely boy personally as you can tell and he is absolutely wonderful. He loves attention, food, and the like. He allows me to pick him up and snuggle him, despite most bunnies hating being picked up (especially larger rabbits like him).
Not only does he have a golden personality, he has interesting coloring! It seems to be a pretty cool mix between agouti and harlequin- which is something I’ve truly never seen before. He’s lovely and he needs an equally lovely home!
